Did you know Discover Dairy’s growing Adopt a Cow program now impacts more than 2 million students each school year? Have you heard about American Dairy Association North East’s programs for breakfast, yogurt and cheese, Strive for 35 Cold Milk Program, and Farm-to-School initiatives? The farm-to-school connections across the dairy industry have a lot of momentum right now – and dairy processors are an important part of these connections. During this month’s webinar, Robin Duff and Brittany Snyder will share ways both organizations are collaborating with school food-service directors to grow milk and dairy use in school meals. Dairy processors will learn creative ideas for how you can connect with students in your community this school year, tell your story, and help kids learn about the nutritional benefits of dairy products.

About the Speakers

Robin Duff is a Youth Nutrition Specialist with the American Dairy Association North East. She supports school districts in western and central Pennsylvania and northern Virginia, helping to protect and promote dairy in schools. With more than 15 years in K–12 school nutrition and five years with the Dairy Association, Robin brings expertise in project management, marketing, and menu development. She partners with schools to strengthen whole child initiatives, boost breakfast and lunch participation, and enhance overall nutrition programs.

Brittany Snyder joined the Dairy Excellence Foundation team in 2018. She led the expansion of the Adopt a Cow Program from 1,000 to 45,000 classrooms in the past five years, connecting with teachers, students and farmers enrolled in the program to share the story of dairy farming. She graduated from Delaware Valley University with a bachelor’s in agribusiness management. Brittany is a native from Berks County and served as the first alternate dairy princess on the 2016-2017 Pennsylvania State Royalty Team.
