Whether you’re a beef, poultry or dairy producer, your workforce is one of your most important assets. In light of the substantial increase in Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and U.S. Customs and Immigration Service (USCIS) enforcement activities across the country, join this one-hour nuts & bolts webinar on Tuesday, June 3 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. EST.

Hosted by the Center for Beef Excellence, Center for Poultry & Livestock Excellence, PA Beef Producers Working Group, and Center for Dairy Excellence, we have invited Brook Duer to the webinar to succinctly cover exactly what you need to know about USCIS I-9 Audits and so-called “ICE raids” to best protect your business and your workforce. They can arrive without notice, so this webinar will help you be prepared, be confident, and have well-rehearsed protocols to implement should you and/or your employees be confronted by USCIS personnel. Whether you’re a producer or agriculture professional who works with producers, join us on June 3 to review the essential information you need to know.

Meet the Speaker:

Brook Duer joined Penn State Law’s Center for Agricultural and Shale Law as a staff attorney in 2019. Prior to that, he was an attorney with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture for 12 years, serving 8 of those years as Chief Counsel to the agency and supervising the agency’s legal office. Prior to that, Brook practiced law for 18 years in Lancaster County.
