You’re invited to a special showing and preview for the ag community of the Perfect Sundays limited TV series on Monday, July 20th at Chester Springs Creamery on Milky Way Farm. Filmed on Chester and Berks County dairy farms, the six-part series focuses on family, farming, faith and community. Hope – and ice cream – are at the center of the series as this fictional dairy farm family navigates a tragedy on the farm. The series captures the journey of a family that digs its way out of economic ruin and emotional paralysis and knows they must keep trying despite it all. Perfect Sundays is a heartfelt journey of resilience and hope, and it should resonate with anyone who recognizes the internal battles of depression.
On July 20, 2026, there will be two chances to watch the first episode of Perfect Sundays in a beautiful, historic bank barn at Milky Way Farm:
- Showing One: 6:15 pm
- Showing Two: 7:45 pm
Each showing includes Episode One of Perfect Sundays, a scoop of ice cream, and a post-episode discussion with Samuel Goldberg (creator and producer of the show), the Matthews family of Milky Way Farm, and others from the dairy industry. This will be an open discussion filled with vulnerability and hope to remind us that we are never alone when facing internal battles and challenges on the farm.
