Dairy Farm Case Studies

Cliff and Andrea Sensenig’s transformation team helped them navigate the permitting and construction of a manure digester on their Lancaster County farm that utilizes waste from multiple species – dairy, pork, and poultry.   This unique project included three years of planning, and approximately 70% funding from federal and state grants.  Future plans also include collecting food waste from local businesses, and associated tipping fees.
