USDA’s Crop Progress report shows about 80 percent of Pennsylvania’s corn crop is in the ground, as of May 31. This is up from 1 percent from the five-year average and 8 percent ahead of last year. About 91 percent of the crop is in the good to excellent “crop condition” category.
