Dairy Week In Review

Total milk production in the US was up just 0.2 percent year-over-year to 18.3 billion pounds in August, with 71,000 fewer cows than a year ago but 1 percent more milk per cow. California was up 1.5 percent, while Wisconsin fell 0.5 percent. Idaho was up 2.9 percent, and New York was up 1.1 percent.
