Dairy Week In Review

US total milk production was up 1.6 percent year-over-year to 18.2 billion pounds in August, marking the first significant increase in year-over-year production since October 2021. Cow numbers  were still down 11,000 head from a year ago to 9.427 million head, up 8,000 head from July.
