Compared to the September 1 trading event, the Global Dairy Trade (GDT) Index fell by 1.1 percent and landed at $3,868 per metric ton (MT) on September 15. Most products experienced decreases from one auction to another. Mozzarella decreased by 6.0 percent from the previous trading event to $3,992 per MT. Anhydrous milkfat and lactose also declined by 3.0 and 4.3 percent from September 1 to 15. Over the same timeframe, butter slid 5.7 percent to $4,760 per MT, the lowest it has been since September 19, 2023.
