Save the Date for the Virtual Pennsylvania Dairy Summit

Emerge with the Virtual Conference on February 8-11, 2021

The 2021 Pennsylvania Dairy Summit will be held virtually on February 8-11, 2021 in response to ongoing public health concerns and limitations around hosting large events in the state. Hosted by the Professional Dairy Managers of Pennsylvania and Center for Dairy Excellence, the annual dairy conference will utilize a virtual conference platform to ensure the program is robust, accessible, educational, and engaging for dairy producers and allied-industry representatives in Pennsylvania and across the nation.

“Bringing the dairy industry together and sharing innovative ideas is the hallmark of the PA Dairy Summit. While we may be emerging together in a different format this year, we have been working to create an experience that is full of practical takeaways, knowledge-sharing, entertainment, and most importantly, a sense of community,” said Jessica Slaymaker, the 2021 Pennsylvania Dairy Summit chair and a dairy farmer from Tioga County. “The theme of the event is about emerging forward and focusing on the future, not the past, in order to find solutions to help our industry advance, adapt, perform, and thrive.”

Held on February 8-11, 2021, each day of the Dairy Summit will be broken into short segments to help dairy professionals balance work responsibilities and conference opportunities. In addition to high-caliber keynote and breakout sessions, the virtual event will offer dynamic and interactive content between sessions each day including networking rooms, entertaining videos, musical performances, a virtual exhibitor hall, and more. Attendees can look forward to:

  • An immersive, easy-to-navigate virtual conference platform
  • Dynamic keynote speakers
  • In-depth breakout sessions on broad industry issues, herd management, people management, and financial management topics
  • Bonus breakout sessions with actionable lessons and hands-on skills
  • Live chats with keynote speakers
  • Behind-the-scenes videos and tours of dairy operations
  • Exciting networking opportunities
  • Door prizes and interactive activities
  • Live music and entertaining videos
  • Virtual expo hall
  • Convenient on-demand access of all sessions for three months following the live event

“The benefit of a virtual format is we were able to secure an expert line-up of speakers that are not always available for in-person events. These speakers are bold, forward-thinking and will be available to chat with attendees and answer questions in real time,” Slaymaker added. “Dairy producers will emerge with a new outlook, fresh ideas, and renewed perspectives on the future of dairy.”

The Pennsylvania Dairy Summit is nationally recognized as one of the best conferences for dairy professionals in all types of production. Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses that are looking for affordable, effective and creative ways to connect with customers digitally and expand their reach within Pennsylvania and across the nation.
