Save the Date for the 2022 Pennsylvania Dairy Summit

Next Year’s Dairy Summit Will Be Held In-Person and Provide Education and Networking Opportunities

“Going for the Gold” is the theme of the 2022 Pennsylvania Dairy Summit, scheduled for February 2 and 3, 2022 at the Lancaster Marriott in Lancaster, Pa. Hosted by the Professional Dairy Managers of Pennsylvania and Center for Dairy Excellence, the annual dairy event will bring together dairy producers and allied-industry representatives who want to collaborate, share ideas, and learn about the latest techniques, technologies and strategies for profitable dairying.

“We are excited to come back together for an in-person event in 2022 filled with plenty of opportunities to network with one another,” said Frank Graybill, the 2022 Pennsylvania Dairy Summit chair and a dairy farmer from Hershey. “Among our Keynote speakers is dairy farmer and U.S. Olympian Elle Purrier St. Pierre who inspires us to commit to excellence on and off the farm.”

Offering inspiration, education, and networking for dairy farmers in all types of production, the Pennsylvania Dairy Summit is nationally recognized as one of the best conferences for dairy professionals. This year’s Summit will feature several keynote speakers and breakout sessions that cover herd, farm, and financial management topics as well as broad industry issues so there is something for everyone on dairy operation teams.

Some of the topics included in these sessions are feed cost management, hedging and risk management, innovations in calf care, generational leadership, and more. Keynote speakers will discuss dairy pricing and markets, dairy technology and environmental stewardship, and business growth and innovation.

“If the past year has taught us anything, it’s that we have to go for the gold every day,” Graybill said. “The program and speakers we have lined up for the 2022 event will help the entire industry have open conversations about what it means for us to commit to excellence, meet consumers’ high standards, pivot and adapt when the unexpected arises, and stay profitable and competitive in a challenging marketplace.”

Additional keynote speakers, program details, and sponsorship opportunities will be announced in November. Registration information will also be available in November.
