Based on August’s World Agricultural Demand and Supply Estimates (WASDE),
corn production estimates for 2025-2026 corn output reached 16.742 billion
bushels. If the estimate holds true, this would be the largest U.S. corn crop
recorded. Corn yield projections jumped to 188.8 bushels per acre, up 7.8
bushels from July’s estimate.
