Dairy Week In Review

USDA’s Dairy Product report shows total cheese output up 8 percent from a year ago to 1.14 billion pounds in April, but down 3.4 percent from a month ago. Italian type cheese production was up  7.4 percent from a year ago, while American type cheese production was up 6 percent. Butter production was down 18.5 percent from a year ago to 185 million pounds, falling 6.9 percent from last  month. Read More
