Based on the most recent USDA Announcement of Advanced Class and Component Prices, August’s Class III price landed at $16.61 per cwt, up $1.12 from July’s $15.52 per cwt. However, year over year, the Class III price was down 60 cents. For Class IV milk, the price fell 98 cents to $17.36 per cwt for August 2026’s milk from $18.34 per cwt for July. Compared to the same month the prior year, the Class IV price was $1.14 per cwt under the $18.50 reported for August 2025.
