Dairy Processor Invited to Webinar on September 30 About Farm-to-School Programs and Processor Partnership Opportunities

Dairy Processors Are Invited to the Free Webinar on Tuesday, September 30

The Pennsylvania Association of Milk Dealers (PAMD) and Center for Dairy Excellence will host a webinar for dairy processors on Tuesday, September 30 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., titled “Got School Milk? Farm-to-School Programs and Processor Partnership Opportunities.” This is the next webinar in the ongoing processor webinar series to help spur discussion, collaboration and innovation across the dairy supply chain. Brittany Snyder from the Dairy Excellence Foundation and Robin Duff from American Dairy Association North East will share ways both organizations are collaborating with school food-service directors to grow milk and dairy use in school meals. Dairy processors will learn creative ideas for how they can connect with students in their community this school year, tell their story, and help kids learn about the nutritional benefits of dairy products.

“Did you know Discover Dairy’s growing Adopt a Cow program now impacts more than 2 million students each school year? Have you heard about American Dairy Association North East’s programs for breakfast, yogurt and cheese, Strive for 35 Cold Milk Program, and Farm-to-School initiatives? The farm-to-school connections across the dairy industry have a lot of momentum right now, and dairy processors are an important part of these connections,” said Rob Fulton, Executive Director at the Pennsylvania Association of Milk Dealers (PAMD). “We hope you’ll join us for this webinar to learn about some of these impactful programs and how you, as a processor, can connect with schools in your community.”

Robin Duff is a Youth Nutrition Specialist with the American Dairy Association North East. She supports school districts in western and central Pennsylvania and northern Virginia, helping to protect and promote dairy in schools.
