Based on the most recent USDA Milk Production Report, U.S. milk production totaled 19.7 billion pounds for June 2026, up 2.3 percent from June 2025. For the April-June 2026 quarter, the nation’s milk supply reached 60.2 billion pounds, a 2.4 percent increase from the same quarter from the prior year. The monthly production per cow in the U.S. averaged 2,036 for June 2026, up 6 pounds year over year.
