The Center for Dairy Excellence Is Considering Hosting a Robotic Milking Discussion Group
The Center for Dairy Excellence is considering hosting a Robotic Milker Discussion Group for dairy farm owners who have robotic milking technology on their operation or individuals who are considering investing in robotic milking technology. To better understand the needs of this segment of the farm community and to determine who is interested in participating in the discussion group, robotic milker owners are encouraged to complete a short survey. Survey responses are due by May 15, 2021.
“The idea behind this type of discussion group is to have a network for exchanging ideas, discussing challenges, and sharing opportunities around robotic milking technology,” said Jayne Sebright, Executive Director at the Center. “The survey asks for your insight about potential discussion topics, how often you would be willing to meet, the type of robotic facility you have, and your contact information if you are interested in joining the group.”
The discussion group will bring together dairy farm owners who are utilizing robotic milking technology on their farms into a network to discuss opportunities and issues relevant to the robotic milking technology world. It will also provide a forum for sharing firsthand experience with the technology, examining key issues, and troubleshooting bottlenecks on the farm.
By completing the survey, you are indicating your interest in participating in the discussion group. The survey is nine questions long and will take two to three minutes to complete. Responses are due by May 15, 2021.
