Purchase Tickets by May 1 to Receive Early-Bird Discount
The Dairy Excellence Foundation is hosting its annual farm-to-fork celebration, “A Toast to Dairy,” on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 6-9 p.m. at Melhorn Manor in Mount Joy, Pa. The event includes meal stations sourced with Pennsylvania Preferred ingredients, a selection of artisan cheeses, and locally crafted wines and brews. Individuals who purchase tickets by May 1 will receive an early-bird discount with $10 off each ticket.
New this year, the event will feature a guided cheese tasting paired with Pennsylvania snack foods along with farm-to-fork food stations, a dessert bar, and tastings from local wineries and breweries. Attendees will receive a tasting passport to enjoy samples at each stop. The event will also include live music, a caricature artist, raffles, an outdoor courtyard, and opportunities to network with individuals from the dairy community and beyond.
“A Toast to Dairy” benefits the next generation of dairy and supports the scholarships, internships and curriculum the Dairy Excellence Foundation provides to students and educators across the state. More than 250 people attended the event last year and helped support the Foundation’s efforts to expose students of all ages to dairy farming.
