The Center and Penn State Extension Are Seeking Input for the 2025 Dairy Producer Survey
The Center for Dairy Excellence and Penn State Extension are collaborating to launch the 2025 Dairy Producer Survey to study how the latest changes in the dairy industry impact Pennsylvania dairy farm families. PA dairy producers are encouraged to complete the survey by April 30, 2025, and the data collected through the survey will be used to shape future grant opportunities, programs, and overall resources that support PA dairy businesses.
“Pennsylvania’s dairy farm families produce a fresh, local supply of dairy products and contribute valuable economic revenue while operating in an ever-changing business environment,” said Valerie Mason-Faith, Risk Education Manager at the Center. “By taking a few minutes to share your thoughts about these dynamics in this survey, your input will impact how we develop future grants, programs and resources for you and other dairy producers.”

The 2025 Dairy Producer Survey includes questions about the following areas of business for Pennsylvania dairy farmers:
- Demographics
- Marketing and Replacements
- Employees and Protocols
- Facilities and Operation
- Future Plans
- Investments
- Risk Management
- Biosecurity Protocols
- Climate-Smart Initiatives
All survey responses will be anonymous, and the survey is expected to take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Visit www.centerfordairyexcellence.org/2025-dairy-producer-survey to take the survey by April 30, 2025. Producers can complete the survey digitally, or print a copy and mail it back to the Center for Dairy Excellence.
