The Results Will Be Shared in Dairy Processor and “Protecting Your Profits” Webinars
With the release of the 2025 Pennsylvania Dairy Producer Survey results, two webinars will be held this November to share data and insights with different sectors of the industry: dairy processors, dairy producers and industry professionals. The 2025 Pennsylvania Dairy Producer Survey was conducted by the Center for Dairy Excellence and the Penn State Extension Dairy Team in early 2025 to evaluate current demographics and trends and to identify needs within the dairy sector.
“The response rate for this survey is positive and very telling for the state of the Pennsylvania dairy industry. In comparing results from the 2025 Pennsylvania Dairy Producer Survey to the 2020 Pennsylvania Dairy Producer Survey, respondents showed an increased interest in calculating their feed costs and production costs as well as increased interest in future investments in their dairy,” shared Valerie Mason-Faith, Risk Education Manager at the Center for Dairy Excellence. “We’re excited to partner with Penn State Extension to share the results of this survey with dairy processors, dairy producers and the industry at large.”

Jayne Sebright and Valerie Mason-Faith from the Center for Dairy Excellence will break down the trends, challenges and opportunities from the survey results and share what this means for the state of Pennsylvania dairy.

- Tuesday, November 25 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. – Diving into the Data: 2025 Dairy Producer Survey Insights for Processors, part of the Dairy Processor Webinar Series and partnership with the Pennsylvania Association of Milk Dealers (PAMD). Ginger Fenton from Penn State Extension, along with Jayne Sebright and Valerie Mason-Faith from the Center for Dairy Excellence, will use the data to help connect the dots between dairy farmers and dairy processors.
