Highly pathogenic bovine influenza A (HPAI) is an emerging threat to Pennsylvania dairies. Join extension at a location near you for a bovine influenza A (HPAI) dairy biosecurity plan writing open house or attend their webinar for help in developing your plan. During the open houses and webinar, Penn State Extension staff will walk you through completing the materials included in the EveryDay Biosecurity Resource Kit available through the Center. Prepare for a potential outbreak and safeguard the health of your animals and the sustainability of your business by attending one of these Open House events or webinar.

The first round of Open Houses are on April 22 at Berks, Cumberland, and Franklin County Extension Offices from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

The second round of Open Houses are on April 29 at Lancaster, Blair, Westmoreland, Tioga, and Mercer County Extension Offices from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

The webinar is scheduled for April 24 from 6 – 7 p.m.
